I have enjoyed a successful career in the media industry for more than 10 years and set up PR The Write Way to help businesses raise their profile in a cost-effective way.
After a magazine internship in Italy, I started my career in journalism on the Henley Standard newspaper where I got to interview a range of people – from Boris Johnson to Jeremy Irons.
I worked on staff newspapers around the country before freelancing for the national newspapers and magazines.
I have had bylines in The Sun, Mirror and Sunday Express and have contributed exclusives to the Daily Mail, The Times and various national magazines.
I set up PR The Write Way to use my press background to help small to medium sized organisations shout about their work.
It’s a thriving role, which has seen a range of businesses in Bristol and the South West achieve widespread recognition.
I love it when customers are happy because their work has gained media attention, which in turn raises their profile and helps boost business.
I’ve heard fertility coach Liz Walton has had people reach out to her (and get pregnant) several years after an article was published; seen Pepper the robot at GWS Robotics make his first TV appearance and learned of the Lydian MindHarp being used in care homes.
One of my first PR clients was Octavia Goredema of the social enterprise Twenty Ten Club. I have seen her work develop over the years and accompanied her when she was awarded an MBE at Buckingham Palace.
I hold senior qualifications from the National Council for the Training of Journalists.
I support Safe and Free, a charity set up to prevent grooming, child sexual exploitation (CSE) and human trafficking.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, photography and cooking. I’ve spent time living in Greece, Italy and Spain – where I walked 300 miles on the Camino de Santiago.
I can tailor a package to suit businesses of all sizes and welcome the opportunity to meet with you without any obligation. Please contact me on 07872969065 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
